A Hop, Skip & a Jump...

 

 

 

...a new year always excites me - new beginnings! So to start this year a-fresh I decided not to drink last night (I now, go ahead have a wee yawn - I would!) but when I woke this morning with a clear head (2 schnauzers that need a good walk and a 3 year old full of beans!) I felt pretty good.

 

Believe me I missed the old Kari - faltering home at 6am on The Walk of Shame but the thing I've realised is that I may not be able to do 'that' sort of thing at the moment but my life is not over - in fact it's just beginning...

Wedge Trainers / Thinking...

Wedge trainers...

Initially I succumbed to the Ash trainers, then treated myself to the Isabel Marant and then fell for the Nike (black and gold) wedge trainers (literally as commented on by a good friend - a step too far!). The Nikes have gone back (or will have at least gone back by tomorrow night). Evidently  I am too 'classy' for them...

Which made me think about something I used to do - which was to choose words and then dress accordingly to them - driving my work colleagues mad, as I would change my 'image / words' daily!
Its something I haven't done for  long time but something I feel has been missing in my life - the what or who would I like to be as apposed to the who  / what do I have to be...
