I Never Wanted One Before But...

... I think I do.
I would like (I have a child and must 'mind' my manners...) a varsity jacket... a vintage one, slightly over sized, mens, warm, not shiny but also not wool and itchy. Mmmmm time to start looking...

My Saving Grace...

... worse than the school gate - is the school class dinner #fearofgodinme...

and so forth I go - not wearing my 'uniform' of jeans and sneakers but a dress *I draw breath...

yes, I decided to blow caution to the wind and go as me - Kari - the slightly over dressed, bit hippy and loves to wear heels - so my saving grace...

...are these amazing - let me repeat - amazing Maison Martin Margiela Boots *I breath again.

Saturday Morning...

Nothing beats a spot of retail therapy and a decent coffee (minus child and schnauzer's). There said it - and - I don't feel too guilty!

Comfort...

... Clothing.

Sometimes when your just soooooo tired theres only certain things you can wear regardless of whats in 'fashion'. For me its 80 day Levis - as named as they are washed / stretched / near on destroyed for 80 days for that 'worn' look (slightly galling as they probably match my own 'worn' look...).
And a brushed cotton shirt - the one that feels like a p.j top...

There is nothing Dusty about this Vintage...

Although it is labelled as 'Dusty Fingers - Hackney's new vintage night market', I can say there is nothing (nothing) dusty about this vintage market!
Whilst Mushroom is occupied (under supervision and not home alone!) I sneaked out to meet a friend and have a quick mooch before my hair appointment - I wish I'd had more time! Brilliant collection of jewels, home wear, clothing (weighted more for the ladies) and generally an awesome selection (and in great condition) of vintage (yes vintage and not tat...).
So if you fancy checking it out - its the first Tuesday of every month 2.30pm (that's coffee and vintage time for me) until 9.30pm (that's bedtime for me...) - see you there!

A slightly crazed look...

This is me midst break and surrounded by the fruits of my cull. I have been critical, ruthless and it feels great (even if I look and feel like a slightly crazed person!). Although I have my moments in which I want to rip open the bags, clothes flying in all directions just in case I 'need' something back... So to distract myself we then made Lava Lamps...

Floral Details...

So today was back to practising or experimenting with the iPad mini...
Mushroom was up at 5.30am - thanks babe! And so we hit the park early! I thought why not take the iPad and see if I could edit / photograph whilst out (hey I'm not that great with technology!) and guess what you can!
Obviously I didn't want to freak anyone out by asking them to take a full length photo but details and on the go stuff works brilliantly (if I must say myself!)
N.b I did keep an eye on child as well...

In or Out? Its a question...

So, I bought the two piece - 70s/80s from our local Mind charity shop.
Took quick photos,
Followed by extreme washing!
Took out shoulder pads and re took photo.

Now the question is should I put them back in?

Ok so I previously made a video (I have no idea how!) and now I have managed to upload (correct term...) 3 (no less!) photos or at least as I type this I think that's what I have done...
