All things French...

As Paris Fashion Week wraps up it only seemed fair to honour my favourite Paris 'things' of the moment. Firstly my obsession with Etre Cecile - best T-s ever (and with sweatshirts on order - soon to be sweatshirts!), secondly the French Bulldog (second to the Schnauzer - I have to love own pooches best!) and thirdly - 'French Navy' the best colour after black and before navy!

Second day running...

... I know some people don't wash denim - its not that I mind whether people do or don't - I just always have but I fear through default I may stop.
These 'boy friend' jeans are sooooooo comfy that I can't see myself taking them off - which means theres no time to wash. In fact the bagger, dirtier they get - the more I think I love them...

It's not that I'm stupid...

For example - comments / posts on Facebook (I end up testing friends to explain!!)

This t-shirt - I'm guessing the irony is I'm the story but truthfully I don't have a clue - but what I do know is that people like it - People (neighbours) that never raise a smile, stopped and talked to me (about this t-shirt!), a rather fab mum commented that I 'must' have worked in fashion previously (I did!) and then a man ran out of the local deli with a coffee for me - although lets be honest I look shattered (I am shattered) but hey! I'm going to put it down to the t-shirt...

Yay! For the hidden heel...

I love heels!
But, kids + dogs doesn't always = heels. There fore I am already a fan of the hidden wedge heel in a trainer thing... you know what I mean! So imagine my delight when I purchased these Ash trainers in the sale only to find they have a slight heel (yep the one inch tilt the body - make you stand better height!) Yay for the hidden heel!

So, as seaside holidays approach and tiredness increases my subconscious must be thinking nautical... that and fresh air, books, time to finish a cup of tea (whilst still hot), family fun, frolics and fish & chips!

Sales Shopping & The Leather Trouser Search...

Normally a month or so before the sales I start to think about what pieces I'd love but cant justify (afford) the price. I draw up a list - items, designers and internet shops (I rarely get further than Islington - and thats only about a mile away!) but admittedly as the discounts become greater a few (unnecessary) items fall in 'the basket'.

So far this year I have succeeded in sticking to my plan! (there's always time to deviate... but I digress). High on my list were leather trousers - I have trawled websites high and low (cost) to find 'the' pair even selecting and trying on a pair of Saint Laurent leather trousers - heaven on the model just not the fit for me (fabulous to have tried on anyway!) and was giving up. Then, a sale item appeared. The last pair and in my size - mine - I 'grabbed' them in to my 'basket', signed, sealed and delivered they can always be sent back but no! These babies are staying!

Which also leads me to the boots - Acne - Discounted - and - truly Awesome!

From Cold to Hot...

Friday morning and its over cast and I'm literally wearing 3 layers (yes, I know it said it might be decent weather - but my faith in the weather has evaporated...) by the afternoon I've thrown caution to the wind and I'm shoeless!
