Never say Never...

...So only a few months ago I found myself in a conversation about dungarees. Without too much thought I found myself saying - yep true, I'm 40 they aren't for me...

...I take it back - 2 pairs of denim dungarees later and a couple (or more) all-in-ones - I stand to correct myself.

One Week Later...

...yep - concussion, tired looking! but literally I'm about to knock that back out of me as I've booked a personal trainer... having never done exercise since leaving school (way, way back) its going to be...fun? but hey bikini shopping and my confidence is going to get better!

The Bandwagon...

...I didn't mean to jump on the pink bandwagon, in fact I may have even been over heard critisising it *hangs head shamefully* but I'm over autumn / winter / feeling chilly / dark colours and I want something light / springy / a contrast to the black and that's where pale pink steps in...

And regarding my love of dungarees can we also lose the chill and turn up the heat. Dungarees and layers can be time consuming... *say no more.

Lollibop Dungarees...

Today we went to Lollibop - a kids festival amongst other mental, tiring, crazy stuff. After unpacking the car, bundling everything and one in the house I found my ASOS parcel. Ripping it open I found what I was after - the 'I'm not wearing my pjs but I might as well be' dungarees...
Ok so not the most flattering, not the most tailored or ladylike outfit BUT so comfy!! Just what I need after today...

From Cold to Hot...

Friday morning and its over cast and I'm literally wearing 3 layers (yes, I know it said it might be decent weather - but my faith in the weather has evaporated...) by the afternoon I've thrown caution to the wind and I'm shoeless!

Mushroom (moody) Tee - Primark, Bottoms - Zara

Dungarees...

The dungarees have a story (one of initial doubt)...

Firstly I browsed (I mean, I didn't feel dungarees were initially aimed at 39 year olds).
Then I bought (knowing they could be sent - straight - back!).
They arrived...
I tried them on (reluctantly)...
I decided to send them back.
Then I decided to Pin It some 'how to wear dungaree looks' (which were well received and re-pined)...
I decided to re-try on...
And keep (I felt fairly confident).
On the way to school Mushroom (the 3 year old) informed me that Mr Maker had some...
